Seeds2 DEMO by Kassen

video upload by Jw Hagenbeek

"The Seeds2 explained to Erik by Kassen (the programmer of the firmware)
#eurorack #ginkosynthese #modular #modularsynth #arp2600"

DIY Kits will be available via SynthCube.

This is the first small batch of assembled SEEDS2! The SEEDS2 is not officially released yet.

The assembling of this first batch is done to create a building manual and tells me what to move around on the PCB to make assembling asier. This means that these first modules will be available far before the real release and you will be the first to have this module in your rack!

The SEEDS2 is a powerfull 8 bit synth voice that gives you a lot of different sounds in a small package!

The sounds range from razor sharp FM basslines to commodore style bleebs and from soft flutes to nasty noises.

More detailed video's and a manual will be available when the module is officially released.

The SEEDS2 is a highly upgraded version of the SEEDS.
There are many new new sounds.
The interface has more knobs to control your sounds and all have their own CV input.
The MOD control is upgraded with a cv attenuator.
The filter section is upgraded and has its own modulation input.
The output stage has been redesigned and has a smoother sound.

GINKOSYNTHESE BATTLE & PHONO PREAMP

video by Jw Hagenbeek

Ginkosynthese BATTLE (XF modulated by TTLFO)
"The GINKOSYNTHESE BATTLE makes playing the modular a different experience. A journey into synthablism. I have to master a new instrument now.
The BATTLE is modulated via the XF CV-input from the TTLFO."

BATTLE
* 2 mono channel audio inputs
* CV controllable crossfader
* Voltage Controlled Amplifier (VCA)
* CV controllable BASS/TREBLE eq
* CV output from the crossfader
* Gate outputs detected from crossfader
* Adjustable crossfader curve
* FX loop on both channels

PHONO PREAMP
* goldplated RCA inputs
* PHONO/LINE select
* RIAA equalization
* GND connection
* MONO and STEREO output on modular level

Note these were announced back in October. They are available in KIT form from SynthCube, and Thonk.

Sampleslicer beat slices 1

Published on Jan 15, 2015 Jw Hagenbeek

"this video is recorded without any effects directly with the internal mic of the camera.
The beat is sampled from an electribe er-1. The sampleslicer is designed to work on modular audio level so it's best to use an external audio input module to get the audio on the right level."

grains and Synthrotek eko delay

Published on May 23, 2015 Jw Hagenbeek

"the grains and eko seems to love each other! I think they need to keep company with a RYO Optodist as soon as possible as VCA/distortion than those 3 together are a full lo-fi 'vowel' monster synth"

first PCB of the grains powered up

Published on May 23, 2015 Jw Hagenbeek

"The Grains is a small (only 4HP) eurorack module kit and is extremely simple to build and cheap! It is designed by ginkosynthese.

It runs on an arduino nano, the code is based on the auduino code written by Peter Knight. The code is rewritten to work with cv inputs to use in modular systems.

Controlled by external cv signals this little module is really a great addition to any modular system.

The kit contains everything to build the module including a preprogrammed arduino for only €45,- (ex VAT) in total.
On the ginkosynthese website there will be more codes which will work on this module and since it is open source I am happy to add user codes on the list too! :)
get ready to make some 8bit acid!"

Ginko Synthese - 2 TTLFO's do crossmodulation

Published on Apr 7, 2015 Jw Hagenbeek

"the new upgrade chip for the TTLFO is bug free and has a max cycle time of 30 seconds! and maybe even better than the longer cycle time... it can do crossmodulation between two TTLFO's for the cv inputs!!! The tempo of the first TTLFO is modulated by the second and the distort of the second TTLFO is modulated by the first."

Upcoming Ginko Synthese Grains on an Oscilloscope

Published on Apr 2, 2015 Jw Hagenbeek

"this is how the GRAINS look like on a scope when a sinewave is fet into one of the cv inputs.
Soon the GRAINS will be available as DIY kit from www.ginkosynthese.com"

via www.ginkosynthese.com

"Coming soon as eurorack module!

This complete and easy-to-build DIY kit is one of the cheapest ways to get a voltage controlled oscillator in your modular.

It is based on digital FOF synthesis and sounds completely different than all other oscillators!

This module works with an (included) preprogrammed Arduino Nano, and to make it even better the code will be available on this website with highlighted parameters for creating your own sounds.
It can do minimalistic clicks and plops, fat basslines, chiptunes or screaming leads."

sampleslicer with a guitar

Published on Jan 22, 2015 Jw Hagenbeek

"This is a first teaser of a higher quality demo of the samleslicer. The only used modules are the Ginkosynthese Sampleslicer and a Doepfer A-145 LFO patched in the pitch cv input of the sampleslicer."

cv controllable auduino

Published on Nov 19, 2014 Jw Hagenbeek

"what you see/hear is only a cv controllable auduino, controlled by 3 Ginkosynthese TTLFO's and one DinSync modseq. It has 5 cv inputs. The lower knob is an attenuator for the cv input the upper one is the offset of the cv. No other modules are used. The Arduino runs the granular Auduino software."
